There are few things as cool as putting together your own unique saber with a custom lightsaber builder. Whether you're building something that suits your style or trying to replicate a famous looking blade, there's an option for everyone with the Saber Builder™.
But if you're lacking inspiration, fear not! We've put together some of the most unique lightsaber styles glimpsed throughout the franchise and dissected what it is about them that makes them so iconic.
Of course, we also have our replica lightsabers section - where many of these famous blades can be bought easily and come ready to duel.
Mace Windu's Saber
Jedi Master Mace Windu is the only Jedi in the franchise to wield a purple lightsaber. In the canonical story of Star Wars, sabers get their colour from the kyber crystal that powers them - and Windu's seems unique.
The colour is hardly the only unique part of the blade - it also features a specially designed handgrip and a shiny electrum finish which evokes his status as a high ranking member of the Jedi order.
Darth Malgus' Saber
Darth Malgus is a Sith lord who relishes face-to-face combat, letting his anger guide him through furious combat with Jedi. His lightsaber's emitter has a unique dual-axe protrusion, which makes his unpowered saber look like a small and dangerous tool on its own.
While we sadly don't have an axe-head emitter option, you can choose a range of unique emitters from our Saber Builder™.
Darth Sidious' Saber
Darth Sidious rarely uses his lightsaber, but when we see it in Revenge of the Sith, it's a short and antiquated design that seems to be directly referencing ancient sith traditions. It has a short handle which is polished electrum, offering a clear shine that makes it look almost ornate. The emitter has three tight concentric golden rings and the blade is, no surprise, bright red.
Darth Sidious also crafted a second, near-identical saber which comes in handy when Mace Windu disarms the first and casts it flying away into the traffic-laden streets of Coruscant.
Darth Vader's Saber
Who doesn't love vader's saber? Never has a tool so clearly illustrated the attitude and personality of its owner - the blunt-force brutality of the greatest duellist in the history of Star Wars and the most feared villain of the entire franchise.
Vader's saber features the black ridged hilt, shrouded emitter and dual-phase blade that lets him change blade length in the middle of combat. While you can't build vader's saber, you can choose your own blade length in our builder.
Darth Maul's Saber
Okay, okay - so we have mentioned this quite a few times - but Maul's saber has to be the most iconic of all the unique styles. Not only did the Zabrak warrior from Dathomir's blade introduce the idea of double-bladed sabers, it was also responsible for some momentous kills in the lore itself - including killing Qui-Gon Jinn.
The idea of a double-bladed saber was born with this blade - also known as a 'saberstaff'. Wielded by an acrobatic Maul, his saber becomes a constant barrage of assault.
Luckily for you, you can enjoy your own version with our own tribute to the classic Darth Maul lightsaber, our pro-rage saber.
Ready to create your own saber? Take inspiration from the sabers above and choose your blade, grip, emitter and pommel all on our Saber Builder.

I always imagined a katana blade saber
That split in half at the hilt to become dual weild maybe a purple blade or a white blade would look cool
